I had Robbie here at my place this afternoon.

My partner, Marianne, wants me to record her doing meditation, with harp playing.

Rob to the rescue, showing how it's done.
He gave me lots of help and tips. I learned today !!!
Thanks Rob.
Much appreciated.
Dave.

I also wanted to say that this has given me my enthusiasm back.

I was very critical towards myself about the technical side of things.
Any mistakes I made, or any lack of knowledge, always knocked me back a few steps.
My fault.
I will never have the techy knowledge that many people here have.

However, I am now able to say to myself... Just try it, if you make a mistake, learn from it. Experiment.
Believe me, that is a big thing for this stubborn old b.....d.

Dave.

You're welcome Dave, and thank you for a very pleasant afternoon.

Man, never again so much coffee... I got half a gallon or something... in the car, my head was buzzing as if I drove through an industrial microwave  but the taste was so [BA Baracus voice]GOOOOOD[/BA Baracus voice] !!

I have every confidence that you will produce a solid recording. Making mistakes is a part of learning, so allow yourself to make mistakes. Then, try again and do well. And don't underestimate yourself, you know more about the machine than you realize (like making a mixdown... ).

I'm glad to see you have your enthusiasm back.
