Hi all,

Sometime ago I found a description (with photos) of a G being taken apart. I don't remember where I saw it and now can't find it. I know there is a video to replace the HDD but I want to take off the cover.

Also, is there a technical manual available anywhere (not the user manual) ?

OK I have found a service manual. But it doesn't list the part I need. Its the black plastic clip that sits inside of the Encoder knob (the EQ, EF1, EF2 and PAN). You can buy the knob but the bit it fits onto is what I need.

Found the part number thus: ALPS rotary encoder part No. EC12E2444400.

I only need the black plastic bit.

Looks like aliexpress.com has these parts.
