Hello guys and gurus,

on my 16G, i recorded a song and i want to change the tempo to make the song faster. i tried the tempo map by changing the tempo from 120 to 146bpm, no effect on the song. i made a copy of the song and changed all the setting in the tempo screen, created a new event, tried to insert no change in tempo. from what the manual says it can be done....i think. one word...HELP!!! by the way i hope y'all enjoy the song " freedom " recorded on 16G.

You need an editing function for that: time compression.

On page 130 is explained how it's done.

If you're unfamiliar with editing, read pages 123 to 125 first. It describes the overall procedure. On page 130 you'll find the specifics for time compression.

That will soon end when we would try to play chess or run a few miles or anything in between...

Hello guys,

I have a computer recording studio " Presonus studio one ver. 3 " I was wondering if I can
use my AW16-g with that program. I tried to midi the aw16-g to the interface but no
controlling from or to the computer. within the remote screen are presets for logic, pro tools,
sonar. Is there something I can do to install a new another preset. How can I get these two
equipment to work together.

Hi Billyray
Yes you can link the two.
The transport controls, the pan, faders, solo.
I also use Studio One V3, I am not a tech expert on the midi subject, and I don`t have the AW16G but I`m sure I can help if you pm me and let me know exactly how your set up, it`s really quite simple with Studio One.
What interface you using? not that it makes any difference but was just curious.
Enjoy your day.

T.

Pulled the AW16G out and thought maybe I would use it as a controller for Studio One 3.5 ... Did you ever get it working Billyray?
