Found this while doing extensive searching on other Yamaha related recording equipment that is similar to the AW16G... It uses Adobe Acrobat...

..this is a better, and hopefully thorough, explanation of the many Dynamic Processors involved in the 16G...BUT this was from the manual of the Yamaha 03D.

Let me know if its useful, and I'll gladly make a sticky for it!

http://www2.yamaha.co.jp/manual/pdf/pa/ ... /03D_E.pdf

NOTE: You MUST LOOK FOR PAGES: 151-156.

Thanks again, Mitch. Slowly but surely, you will help us assemble a manual for the G, and it seems like you will be able to do it from material that Yamaha has already prepared. Strange that they wouldn't just do it themselves. Shoot, if they had assembled all of the bits and pieces in their possession that you have ferreted out, I would have purchased a copy of that "DeLuxe Manual" or whatever they would have wanted to call it. As it is, you are getting it for me for free, so once again, Thanks

Carey

The manual for my G (purchased Feb '05) has essentially the same info on pages 174 to 176 (2 column vs 1 column pages). However Gating and Ducking are combined into one section and it does not have the list of presets with parameter values.

Did earlier manuals not have this info?
