In another thread….. I was totally wrong when I had posted and complained that the metronome on the G was only variable in increments of whole BPM variation .i,e 69 bpm or 70 bpm. I was in search of an infinitely variable metronome on the G and I didn’t think that it was possible to control the metronome in bpm values less than whole number values.

I was wrong. I didn’t see an infinitely variable metronome on the G initially, but I eventually did discover that there is a way to vary the metronome tempo in increments of tenths of beats per minute.

Refresher:

Turning the metronome ON:

To enable the metronome press the TRACK key to VIEW.

Scroll over and down to METRO. Press ENTER to turn the metronome ON.

Press SONG repeatedly to TEMPO (highlighted).

Scroll over to the right of the screen and use the cursor arrows to highlight the existing tempo value.

Turn the jog wheel (right or left)

You will see a screen that asks “Edit Tempo Map?

Use the right arrow key to curser over to OK. Hit ENTER.

You will see the current tempo displayed.

Use the Jog Wheel to increase or decrease the tempo map in increments of .1 BPM.

I have made a video of this, but I’m experiencing video technical difficulties at the present time.

Go figure! :D
