I had it on my AW1600 but not the CDROM itself and alas, when I suffered a drive problem the samples were lost and I did not have a working backing.

Does anyone have access to the Yamaha drum samples CDROM? Please PM me I would be happy to pay your reasonable costs, shipping etc. to obtain a working copy of the CDROM so I can re-install the sample library. Thanks

Bill

Sorry, only have access to the WA16G version. Did you try Yamaha support ? They seem to be very helpfull.

Good luck.

I have the original CD that came with my AW1600. I presume that the drum samples are on it somewhere. The same thing happened to me with the samples (except that I was stupid enough to accidentally reformat the hard drive). I never bothered putting the samples back on as I'd never used them anyway but I'd be happy to send you a copy of the CD if you can give me your address.

Hi gardenque,

Would it be possible for you to pack it in a zip file and ftp it to me? I'll create an ftp account that is big enough.

Hi Robbie,

I'll certainly have a go. This computer does get a little 'menopausal' at times, however!

Good morning Robbie,

The CD-Rom has now been successfully zipped and is ready to go on its journey into cyberspace. Size is 434 Mb.

Howard, an ftp screen looks like this. This is filezilla, but there are many more to choose from.

Thanks for the CD Gardenque it worked fine. I was able to reinstall the samples from the CDROM without reformatting the drive. The disk works like a champ. Thanks again.

Bill

Robbie,

Your CD should be arriving soon also. It was posted on the same day as Bill's but obviously, there has been a warp in the time/space continuum which has resulted in the one posted to the USA getting there first. If yours doesn't arrive soon, let me know and I'll send another.

Hiya Gard, thank you very much. The mail has a name of being slow around here. Some of the CD's I sent in the past arrived in the States earlier than others in Belgium (twenty minutes by car from here).

I'll keep you posted.
