I have recently received a brand new Rocktron Banshee Talkbox. I have read the manual and all, but the thing is, the amp in the talkbox has a very noticeable background noise. I want to record with the talkbox without having to set it near the mic. Is that possible and how? I would very much appreciate it if anyone could help (and I would also be happy if you use simple vocabulary... I am a newb!)

Use a long enough "tube" (technical term). You can probably buy one from a hardware/plumber's store if the one provided is not long enough. Make sure it's close enough to the correct size, and get a rubber "grommet" (actual technical term) to make sure it's a snug fit in your banshee. If the amp is powerful enough this will allow you to place the box further away from the mic but still have the tube in your mouth. It should cost you mere sheckles.
