Can I Import a 5 minute song off of a regular cd onto the G?

my friend recorded some guitar and vocals and made a cd of her song.If she gives me that cd is there a way I can import her song onto the G so I can then record a bassline n' then make a cd copy of the same song with added bass? Thanks :cry:

Yes you can, by importing. First, you have to enable the "digital in", that makes you read a copyright note. It is in the utility menu somewhere. After that, I believe it is in the track menu, you can import a track.
